A very beautiful game of football displayed by the two teams, it was worth watching as the two teams fought their lungs put in search of a spot in the Russia 2018 world cup final. As usual , the English were dangerous on set pieces and corners on the night. A terrific strike from Trippier free-kick in just five minutes into the game.

A very exciting encounter to watch, both teams knew what was at stake before the beginning of the game. There was so much tension, the nerves were high. It was a do or die moment, the one do the bigger heart was the one who would survive.  France was the one that raised the hand to show that they were hungrier and more prepared. It was a game of tactics. Belgium tried it's best on the day, but that was not enough to take them to the finals.

The three  (3) Lions came into this tournament as one of the underrated teams. Many did not expect them to still be participating by now , let alone proceeding to the semi-finals. However they are a team that grows with the tournament. Every game they play they are better than  the previous one. Today they took on the Swedish nation in the quarter -finals. England continues to show strength in the set pieces. Most of their goals came from corners and set pieces.

A huge disappointment for the Brazilian people after a shock defeat by Belgium. This was a very tight fixture for both teams, the game could go either way as both teams are decorated with seasoned players . The Brazilian squad is full of cream in the likes of Neymar, Coutinho, Willian, u know just the whole team is a team of stars.  On the other hand Belgium also has Hazard, Lukaku, Debryune , Kompany just to name a few.

Sweden continue to show they did not eliminate the Italians from the world cup qualifiers by fluke. They continue to show competition. From the beginning of the tournament till now, Sweden was growing with the tournament.  They were not really convincing on their first game but continued to improve each game. The Swedish are one of the underdogs in the world cup , but now I believe teams have started noticing them. They are not a team that cares much about possession, their game plan is to catch teams on the break. The defence is very compact and not easy to penetrate.
